Friday

Camp iCare had a fantastic finish at DC Wolfe Elementary School. The morning began with the Camp iCare Olympics Opening Ceremony that provided insight into creating a lasting legacy. We learned that all of our actions go towards creating our lasting legacy. Once the opening ceremony was concluded, the participants were dispersed into the classrooms for the final activities for the week.

In the classroom, we discussed how a legacy can be created. We also shared what we would like our legacy to be. Once the discussion was finished, the Camp iCare participants completed their Olympics poster, Donor Boards, and the "Genius Zone" eBoards.

The guest speaker for the afternoon was Dr. Dorothy Hooks. Dr. Hooks is a former principal within the Macon County school system. She shared the importance of a legacy and the roles that education will have in shaping lives.
